About the event
Welcome to the 2024 Texas Game Jam! This game jam is hosted by the Electronic Game Developer's Society (EGaDS!) at the University of Texas at Austin, an interdisciplinary student organization open to all UT students with a passion for game development. A game jam is an event where students from different disciplines come together and create a video game in a short period of time. If you don't have any experience in game development, don't worry! Anyone is welcome to try their hand at making a game during the UT Game Jam and learn new skills. The Texas Game Jam will be hosted in-person at UT and virtually through Discord from Friday, September 27th to Sunday, September 29th. Kickoff and theme reveal will happen at 7pm CDT on Friday and submissions will be due at 8pm CDT on Sunday. This form is MANDATORY for all participants.
